Marc Marquez Fell In MotoGp Spain And Suffered A Broken Bone Injury

Jerez - Poor results obtained by Marc Marquez in the inaugural race of the 2020 MotoGP. The Repsol Honda rider had an accident in the Spanish MotoGP race at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday (7/19/2020) evening hours.

Marquez crash occurred when the Spanish MotoGP race left three laps. He fell in the third corner when trying to suppress Maverick Vinales from the Monster Yamaha team.
Marquez fell. He could not continue racing again and was immediately taken by an ambulance to the hospital.

Previously, Marquez almost fell and dropped off the track when leading the race on the early laps. The Spanish rider then scattered to position 18. But, the defending MotoGP champion did not give up. Slowly, Marquez rose to third place before finally falling.

Repsol Honda Team boss Alberto Puig confirmed that Marquez was taken to hospital for further tests. "Marc was hit hard on the upper arm, now they are checking and X-Raying," Puig was quoted as saying by Crash.

marquez suffered a transverse diaphyseal fracture in his right humerus. MotoGP medical staff have confirmed there is no head trauma or other serious thorax. However, it will remain under surveillance for 12 hours. "

After Spain, the Andalusian MotoGP will then be held. This race will also be held at the Jerez Circuit on July 26.
Marquez is doubtful to be able to participate in this race. "The recovery time is unknown, the Honda Repsol Team will provide an update after the operation," concluded a Honda statement.
